Dr. Manchego was born and raised in Lima, Peru. From a very young age, he was fascinated with America and told his parents he would live here one day. At the young age of thirteen, his dream became reality when his parents made the decision to pursue a new life in the United States. Dr. Manchego and his family became US citizens and have called North Carolina home since 1995, spending some of this time in Lewisville.

Influenced by the example and teachings of his parents, Dr. Manchego understood early the importance of hard work and education. After graduating from Reynolds High School, he enrolled at NC State and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. It was during his time at college that he developed an interest in dentistry after attending numerous dental community events and personally seeing the positive impact dentistry had on people’s lives, including his own family.

After a short time working in the crop science and pharmaceutical industries, Dr. Manchego enrolled at Marquette University to complete his dental education. After graduation, Dr. Manchego moved back to North Carolina, where he practiced as an associate for reputable dental practices in the Triad area, and as an adjunctive clinical instructor at the Forsyth Technical Community College Dental Assisting Program.

Dr. Manchego is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

When he is not caring for patients or attending dental seminars, Dr. Manchego enjoys spending time with his wife, Gabriela and daughter, Camila.
